Bitwise比特币ETF计划收购Osprey比特币信托，实现资产整合与管理优化

Osprey Funds, the creator of Osprey Bitcoin Trust (OBTC), has reached an agreement with Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) and Bitwise Asset Management. As part of the deal, BITB will acquire all assets of the OBTC fund.
Earlier this year, in March, Osprey had stated that it was considering selling or merging with a bitcoin ETF, among other strategic moves. The company had until September 1, 2024, to complete the sale or merger, after which it would liquidate OBTC.
In a press release, Osprey Funds stated, "As part of this transaction, holders of OBTC shares will receive BITB shares as part of the distribution in the event of OBTC liquidation. For existing BITB holders, their shares will not be affected, and there will be no changes to the operation of BITB."
